I’m Ernest Lew, a Melbourne-based Singaporean photographer, creating photographs for couples and families who value images that feel as meaningful as the moments themselves.

My approach is rooted in a fine-art editorial sensibility — creating photographs that are timeless and elegant, while remaining organic, honest and authentic. I’m drawn to the quiet in-between moments, the natural gestures and fleeting expressions that often become the most treasured memories.

I believe beautiful photographs begin with feeling comfortable enough to simply be yourselves. Rather than directing every moment, I allow space for things to unfold naturally, fostering a relaxed and safe environment where you can be present, connected and freely express who you are.

My work takes a hybrid approach, thoughtfully combining the character and soul of analogue film with the versatility of digital photography. Together, they allow me to create imagery with a sense of depth, emotion and permanence — photographs made not only to be seen today, but to be cherished for generations.
